A parent sent me the following information / idea on friskoler, it might be interesting for our project. Free schools (friskoler) have more freedom of movement, but also the Ministry's control. See for example, of Odense , a free school where they teach English a lot, do not follow the curriculum of the ministry, etc. are highly innovative (IT: each has a laptop Alunno staff to use in school and outside, diversity, international,
creativity, role playing, etc.). There are guided by the curriculum of the Ministry or by afgagnsprøv
asking to go to Gymnasiet. When approaching
approx 13-14 years. separate those who go to
afgangsprøv to work with them differently.


the friskoler Apparently, most of them small (no more than 150 students, many of them) have very good results in general for 2 reasons: teachers with interest and enthusiasm, and parents involved in the running of the school. That added to the fact that in theory have 'more freedom to follow or not the curriculum of the Ministry (for that the free school of Odense teaches courses in English, I sent you.) I think this aspect of the friskoler can be an advantage to introduce more Castilian in teaching, and perhaps make the project more attractive

We concluded the phase of information dissemination. We have reached a point at which the project can only proceed if a sufficient number of parents are committed to working. Therefore we have developed three key documents:

- bases (which describes in detail the project, reasons, etc)

- stages (what has happened so far and what we imagine might happen in the future )

- schema (join one of our working groups!)

If you want FREE list of some of the working groups you can send us an email. If you do not receive sufficient response the project will be "asleep" at the moment. :-)

closed is given by varying the phase of gathering information, dissemination of the idea, with public meetings and meetings of inspiration ( Dansk privatskoleforening with, and Euroschool). The information gathered is sufficient to take the next step of commitment.

This phase commitment is vital to continue working on the project, and the most important thing for us and our greatest motivation is to have a minimum number of interested families which want to offer their children the opportunity to learn English as accurate as possible not only in the oral but also level of writing, grammar and knowledge of both literary and cultural.

Please forward the call between parents who may know, we hope that many choose us on 12 May! :-) We went to the meeting

Natalia Morollón, Susana Tosca and Manu Ahedo. Euroschool director, Robert Barrett, welcomed us with kindness, and we spent 1 hour of your time full of good guidance and advice.

Some Euroschool keys to success are: a) guarantee initial funding of the project through a rich person who supported the project could get bank loans needed for the critical 1. school year, b) teaching English as a subject from the børnehaveklasse (6 years), with 3 lessons per week, that from 1. klasse increase at 6 hours per week to 9. klasse., c) Recruitment of bilingual teachers as much as possible. Each teacher will always teach in their mother tongue, but the Danish teacher to have a good knowledge of English language can always make this an indirect way to work out some specific issues.

These three aspects are key factors to consider in developing our school project. Euroschool director encourages us to attempt the project of the English-Danish school, and if it took you like to find some kind of collaboration between the two schools for the benefit of mutual learning of English and English of them children s.

Here I present some ideas that were suggested at the meeting of 24 February.

1. contacts with private schools:
a) asked about the possibility that they could accommodate and develop a line English-Danish
b) if the school is an Anglo-Danish, could serve for inspiration on how a private school Anglophone who receives the subsidy from the Danish.

2. Harness workshop INCHI Saturday's child to do more activities for boys and girls s: excursions, weekend, etc.. As a voluntary association INCHI all depends on the interest and willingness of these parents-mothers.

3. spread the idea of \u200b\u200bthe school to reach more potentially interested parents-mothers, both English-speakers as daneses.Toda idea or suggestion to develop a positive these ideas are welcome. Manu
