John Paul II, under whose pontificate began World Days Youth has been appointed patron of the WYD Madrid11 , following the announcement of his beatification.
Cardinal Rylko, president of the Pontifical Council for the Laity 'Ministry' in charge of the Vatican World Youth Day, has issued this press release to over 200 delegates from around the world gathered in Madrid to prepare the next Day.
